Kitty Studio, Izu for “open house”, rec’ing & mixing engineering

And back to Izu studio, the long time famous Kitty Studio, for the third time for this trip!
Shinkansen and JR trains rule, by the way!
This time is one of these “open days” the Taichi san, the studio manager, organizes to promote the studio in a non-conventional way: so it’ s jamming time, whoever comes comes and it’s my job to make it smooth on the recording and mixing-on-the-fly gig on the Neve board, while musicians exchange in and out (I tracked and mixed a shamisen on a tune), and an actual audience is there to party at the BBQ and to assist dynamically to the session…
… way too many people but very very fun, indeed!

and of course, at the end of my long day, I can chill by the private onsen the studio has in the main lodging house… well deserved by me and a gread time for sure!
