A quick trip to freezing windy Berlin to play a show with London based italian composer (and old friend) Luca Wu with his original material.
Being basically the original guitar player since the band went live, it was a pretty easy gig to jump into; we just needed to do one rehearsal with a German rhythm section that was suggested to him.
My obvious gear for the gig was my Washburn N4 (I would prefer a Strat for it but I needed all possible fingerboard frets available for written solos that I have to play, and I needed a tuning-reliable Floyd Rose bridge) and a Zoom G3 (easy to carry on board on European low cost airlines…)
Fun to play… not really fun not having a promised proper amp for the gig thou……
